We are incredibly proud that The Environmental Protection Group have won the best research, innovation or advancement of science in the Brownfield sector at the Brownfield Briefing award for Steve Wilson’s publication, CL:AIRE Good Practice for Risk Assessment for Coal Mine Gas Emission.
The document provides advice that could be regarded as essential reading towards understanding coal mine gas risk assessment, is a collation of current understanding of coal mine gas risks and seeks to assist in the formulation of appropriately robust mine gas risk assessments in the UK and provides a decision framework and presents those factors an assessor would be expected to have considered if delivering standard good practice.
