Attenuation via sub-base replacement beneath pitches, key challenges:
- Restricted discharge from site (100 l/s)
- 1500cu.m attenuation required
- Perched water table
- Rainwater Harvesting to both school buildings
- Poor ground conditions (CBR circa 2% and landfill)
- Gas protection required to all buildings
- Gas migration protection required to bordering residential properties
- BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standard required
- Very tight construction programme
